Things Are Not As They Appear

When I look back over the course of my brief life, I can say with certainly that 2018 was one of the most difficult years of my life. When I wrote Expect the Unexpected in February I didn’t even realize how much more trying my year would become. 2018 was meant to be a year of “Explosion” for me. Oh it was explosive alright! More than I could imagine. The year was emotionally and physically exhausting.

I am sensing all around me, a spirit of fatigue. Many of us are frustrated with the hand God dealt us and are sick and tired of being sick and tired! We’ve been believing and praying and fasting and crying out to God. To be honest, some of us aren’t doing any of those things anymore because we haven’t seen the fruit of our efforts. We feel like if it was supposed to happen it would’ve happened by now. We see no point in continuing to believe for what obviously isn’t coming.

I implore you, do not enter 2019 with that mindset. Ringing in my spirit all year was, “Things are not as they appear.” What I understand more than anything is that when there is an assignment on your life—something significant God has given you to birth in the earth—the onslaught of attacks are camped out around your house, waiting to take you completely out and blot out your purpose. But things are not as they appear.

I am absolutely outraged by the attempts and attacks that are coming against me and my loved ones. I won’t stand for it! I won’t relent or relax what I believe regardless of the timetable it takes for manifestation. Why? Because I’m confident that behind the curtain, my success and your success is being strategically woven together by a brilliant and exacting God.

So 2019 is my comeback year. And I’m coming back with a vengeance!!

Make this new year, your comeback year. Come back to your First Love. Come back to your faith. Come back to your purpose. Come back to your relentless unabashed determination to do all that God has called you to do, no matter what it looks like and no matter how you feel!

Things ARE NOT as they appear!
